The Wonder of Words

Sometimes the urge to write is so strong that I feel fit to burst and I have to put pen to paper or fingers to keyboard. As I open the unstoppable, words just burst forth in a verbal torrent across the page. Like an overflowing river after a storm, the texts surges from my soul, flooding the reader with new thoughts and feelings. New ideas form and swirl in their mind and mine are both submerged in a life-giving force of prose.
That is why I prefer to write when I feel the urge and not on demand or when I feel I ought to. On those occasions the words can be stilted or forced. There can be awkward silences. Unplanned stations in the train of thought. And before you know it the reader has alighted and gone off in a different direction, not realising the genius of the journey ahead.
Don’t get me wrong, I’m not claiming to be anything special; I’m just a student in art of expression, just trying to share my innermost being with you in the most desirable and non – sexual way.
