“One day, I went on my knees and prayed to God, asking what I should do; I did not want to go back to the Information Analyst roles that I found unfulfilling! God told me… to ‘help the women’.”

When a successful Management Information Analyst became unfulfilled in her self-employed contractor role, she felt led to relaunch her career to help others.

Now Tobi Awoyemi is known across the globe for empowering women to achieve their dreams to start and build profitable businesses through her books, online courses, coaching, training, speaking engagements and the “Excel Woman TV Show.”

A sessional Business lecturer at a widely-recognised London university, Tobi is currently organising this year’s “Excel Woman Conference” at the Holiday Inn, Coram Street, Bloomsbury, London, WC1N 1H on May 25th.

“In 2007, I found myself bored and unfulfilled in my role as a Management Information Analyst in the financial services industry, a job I had previously desired. I endured it for a while at the advice and encouragement of my very supportive husband, Femi, and mentors. A great opportunity came, in the form of maternity leave after my second child, I grabbed the opportunity to decide what to do next,” Said Tobi.

“One day, I went on my knees and prayed to God, asking what I should do; I did not want to go back to the Information Analyst roles that I found unfulfilling! God told me through an impression in my Spirit to, ‘help the women’.”

Since then, Tobi has not looked back and for this year’s Excel Woman Conference, Tobi has invited author, speaker, success coach and international Christian ministry leader, Terri Savelle Foy and Nike Adeyemi, who is the president of Real Woman International Inc. and founder of The Real Woman Foundation as Guest Speakers at the Conference.

Tobi said: “Many women are in jobs they don’t enjoy, have a desire to build an income doing what they love but don’t know how to go about it. My aim at the Excel Woman Conference is to help women find what they are naturally gifted to do, and to help them fulfil their purpose using their God-given gifts, talents, skills and experience.”
